The Book of Kells was created by monks in Ireland between the 8th and 9th century.  While it is the gospel of Colmcille, this glorious work of illuminated art contains a wealth of Celtic images.  The precise detail and color variety achieved is so precise and detailed; no one is sure exactly how they were able to achieve it.  It is a never ending source of inspiration for us.  This ribbon is depicting an image directly from one of the pages.  This design has it all, color, movement, balance, and shape.  It will certainly start a conversation
